First Aid - Providers will earn a 2 year certification upon completion of the Amercian Heart Association First Aid Training. Topic Areas 2, 4, 7 Fee: $10.00

Medication Administration Training (MAT) - MAT is required for all providers who plan to administer medications to the children in their program. Currently, the fee for MAT is $120.00. The SUNY MAT grant is available and will cover up to $100.00 toward MAT training. A $20.00, non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration. The balance, or a MAT voucher, is due the day of the class. Once you are registered, a SUNY MAT grant application will be sent to you. You are responsible for completing and submitting the MAT Grant application. Registration for MAT is due one week prior to the class. Topic Areas 2, 4, 7

CACFP Renewal Training - CACFP Renewal Training for current CACFP participants only. Remember, you must attend a CACFP Renewal Training once a year to continue participation in the program. Please check the date of your last CACFP Renewal Training certificate to determine if you are due to attend. GLenda Criss-Forshey - an Infant / Toddler Specialist for Region 3 Infant and Toddler Resource Center will be the featured speaker. This Renewal training is free and is for CACFP participating providers only. Location: McDonald's Community Room, Central Square. Topic Areas: 2, 3, 4, 5, 7

ABOUT SUNY VIDEO CONFERENCES: Child Care Providers may attend free SUNY Video Conference Trainings at the Council office in Oswego. If you plan to complete all of your training requirements by attending video trainings, keep in mind that they will only be offered 12 times per year.

Please Note: the Council cannot register you for a video conference. Walk-ins are welcome, but registration is recommended. You can register for a video conference online at www.tsg.suny.edu . If you would like to register but you do not have internet access, you can call Rosanne at the council at 343-2344. She can mail you the video conference registration form that you complete and fax or mail to SUNY Training Group in Albany.
